Education Requirements

The New Jersey Board of Dentistry regulations require that applicants graduate from a dental school recognized by CODA (US & Canadian schools), so to apply for a dental license in NJ, you are required to complete a minimum of 2 years of additional training in an approved program that culminates in a DDS or DMD degree. Sealed transcripts from the school forwarded to the NJ board.

Written Exam Requirements:

NBDE parts I/II scores reported directly to the NJ board.

Clinical Examination Requirement:

ADEX exam is accepted by NJ board if administered by NERB or any other state or regional board.

Applicants must submit to a fingerprinting and criminal history background check.
