Education Requirements
The New Jersey Board of Dentistry regulations require that applicants graduate from a dental school recognized by CODA (US & Canadian schools), so to apply for a dental license in NJ, you are required to complete a minimum of 2 years of additional training in an approved program that culminates in a DDS or DMD degree. Sealed transcripts from the school forwarded to the NJ board.Please download and review the license application and instructions for more insight into the process
Written Exam Requirements:
NBDE parts I/II scores reported directly to the NJ board.Clinical Examination Requirement:
ADEX exam is accepted by NJ board if administered by NERB or any other state or regional board.Applicants must submit to a fingerprinting and criminal history background check.
